I'm a little extra excited about this release because I just finished and reviewed book 1, Assassin's Magic 1 (see review). I really enjoyed book 1. There was interesting world building, exciting action, unfurling mysteries and I loved the connection made to mythology. The romance between Hunter and Slade is smoldering and I'm more than ready to continue with the story and see what is in store for our kick-ass heroine.
