Hi and Welcome!

I'm Sarah and I still love to read fairy-tales

They are just a whole lot sexier now.

I'm a fan of fiction but Paranormal Romance is my true north on the literary compass.

I eat, sleep and breathe ParaRom and am thrilled to share this obsession with you.

"My Life In Books" Tag

I came across this really fun book tag and just had to take part. Thanks Kati's Bookaholic Rambling Reviews for sharing and motivating us to participate so we can get to know one another just a little bit better. Here we go...

1. Find a book for each of your initials.

"S" : Succubus Blues (Georgina Kincaid Book 1) by: Richelle Mead

"C" : Cowboy's Kiss by: Kimberly Llewellyn

2. Count your age along your bookshelf: What book is it?

by: Dannika Dark

After what was supposed to be a simple job, Raven and Christian uncover a sinister plot against the higher authority, and the stakes are as high as the body count. Meanwhile, Raven is still struggling to make sense of her feelings for Christian following a memory wipe.

Ooooh, so glad I landed on this book. I just read it a few months ago and it was just as wonderful as the first 4. I love Raven Black and can't wait for the next one. Christian has some explaining to do.

3. Pick a book set in your city/country.

In book 2, Sookie’s in Dallas, TX using her telepathic skills to search for a missing vampire.

She’s supposed to interview certain humans involved. There’s just one condition: The vampires must promise to behave—and let the humans go unharmed. Easier said than done.

All it takes is one delicious blonde and one small mistake for things to turn deadly...

If you're a True Blood fan and didn't read the books, I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

4. Pick a book that represents a destination you’d love to travel to.

The backdrop of this book are three different cultures: pleasure in Italy, devotion in India, and on the Indonesian island of Bali, a balance between worldly enjoyment and divine transcendence.

This perfectly highlights 3 places on this planet that I dream of traveling to. Hopefully someday and soon.

5. Pick a book/cover that’s your favorite color.

Star Cruise: Marooned by: Veronica Scott

Marooned on the dangerous outback world, romance is the least of their concerns, and yet Meg and Red cannot help being drawn to each other once they see how well they work together. But can they survive long enough to see their romance through? Or will the wild alien planet defeat them, ending their romance and their lives before anything can really begin?

I'm a fiery Aries and RED is my signature color. I not only love this book's color, I also love this book, this series and this author.

6. Which book do you have the fondest memories of?

A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle

When the children learn that Mr. Murry has been captured by the Dark Thing, they time travel to Camazotz, where they must face the leader IT in the ultimate battle between good and evil--a journey that threatens their lives and our universe.

I can still remember my 5th grade teacher being moved to tears as she read a passage from this book. It amazed me at how a book could bring on such emotion and how much love my teacher had for this story.

That moment inspired me to love books and to read often. I've never stopped either.

7. Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?

The Gunslinger introduces readers to one of Stephen King’s most powerful creations, Roland of Gilead: The Last Gunslinger. He is a haunting figure, a loner on a spellbinding journey into good and evil.

I am a huge fan of Mr. King and I sincerely respect his talent. But this book went right over my head. I found it confusing and disjointed and eventually gave up on trying to finish it. I may give it another try or maybe I'll just watch the movie.

8. Which book in your TBR pile will give you the biggest sense of accomplishment when you finish it?

Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes

Widely regarded as one of the funniest and most tragic books ever written, Don Quixote chronicles the adventures of the self-created knight-errant Don Quixote of La Mancha and his faithful squire, Sancho Panza, as they travel through sixteenth-century Spain.

My brother gifted me with this book a few Christmas's ago and it has been collecting dust on my bookshelf ever since. I absolutely want to read it but I just haven't been in the right mindset. I'll consider it a major accomplishment when I finally get it done.

So, there's "My Life in Books".

Rather than tagging specific bloggers, I'm going to TAG anyone who wants to have a little fun and share their life in books. You're it!
