Well isn't this the truth?
How many of you have fond memories of book fairs? I can't even explain the excitement my younger self had over the possibility of new books.
This meme is so nostalgic and I can practically smell the brand new books gracing the shelves of those portable displays.
It was one of the greatest joys to carefully examine each cover and read each book summary. It was also one of the hardest decisions to narrow them all down to a select few that I could actually afford.
Now, I get to watch my son light up when the book fair arrives at his school. He's starting to get just as excited as I used to be and I'm absolutely thrilled. And incredibly jealous.
Why oh why can't we still have them as adults?
